Description
My choice of of all the blocks I have incubating. I pick the best one I’ve got that’s ready for fruiting.
No you can’t have a Lion’s Mane block, until you’ve proven that you can fruit an oyster. The lion’s mane takes longer to grow, so it’s easier to mess up. My babies deserve a fair shot.
I usually pick an Italian, a pink, a blue, a grey, or a pearl oyster. It all depends on whats incubating at the time.
Get a great first flush, go for a second or even a third, or break it up into some pasteurized straw and use it as spawn. Have fun learning to grow mushrooms. It’s a real rabbit whole of a research product.
I demand daily photo updates so I can guide you in growing and make sure my babies turn into mushroom trophies.
I’m transitioning the photo updates over onto the Growing Forum on this website, and soon I’ll have a mandatory mini course before you can buy a kit, or a Challange Exam that would allow you skip the course.
So mush fun ahead for anyone who wants to learn to grow mushrooms in 2023!
