I’m pretty proud of that! It’s amazing for a second flush.
I’d give it one more day!
Then you go for a third, or wrap it in newspaper, coffee grounds woodchips, straw, or anything it can eat, and give it a shallow burial outside, anywhere.
You don’t really even need your own yard, just a place you walk by frequently.
A city planter would do.

Not the prettiest, but still tasty for sure.
The cracking is due to dryness.
To harvest….
Have someone hold down the bag if you can.
Slide two hands, palms up, between the bouquet and the bag.
Lift, twist and tear away the mushroom bouquet, trying not to damage the caps.
Use clear tape/plastic to seal the hole in the bag left behind.
Put the block in a cooler place for 5-10 days and check for new growth to reveal to repeat the process and possibly get a second flush.

Make up for it by saturating them a few good times.
They may mature prematurely before attaining full yield from the dry spell.
They will still taste amazing, and more nutrients will be available for a potential second flush, if you have the eye for timing the second flush correctly.
Also, they may recover over the next 24 hrs with care.
Pet the mushrooms to evaluate moisture levels often. They should never get this dry that they dry crack so mush before you notice.
Fingers crossed!
MushLove and thanks for the update.

That’s an indication that your ambient Carbon Dioxide level is likely below 600 parts per million. It’s a great environment for growing mushrooms. Feel free to stretch that plastic back again on the right where it is contacting the caps. Stoked to see them again tomorrow as they double in size again. So fast. Great job! MushLove Kayla!

See those healthy pins with the brown caps?
The mushrooms are smart.
They direct all their energy into the most viable candidates from the aborting pin set and the rest of the nutrition block.
10/10
Great job.
They will double in size again during the next 24 hrs.
Keep on doing what you are doing.
You got this!
MushLove.
