Great call!  These new babies seem a bit light in colour and may not increase your total yield.  Let’s trim them off.  Use downward slices with a clean knife, then “peel away” the caps I’ve marked like you would peal a 🍌 banana.  They fibers pull apart easily that way, without leaving mush of a stump behind.

Also, stay real light on the spraying to help the mushrooms breath better.  I’d like to see a better stem to cap ratio with a lot of cap development in the next 24 hours.

guests gone. Thank you. We’ve been petting and it’s still cool so likely no watering until before bed. It’s been warm in the kitchen with cooking so monitoring closely.

No spray before bed and none this morning as the caps are still feeling cool.

Awesome!  That’s what it needed.  See the caps coming together more tightly?  That is indicative of perfect C02 levels and resultant stem to cap ratio.  Great job.  You’ll likely be harvesting tomorrow!

4 full days since cutting plastic.  They are so beautiful!  Now, to water? Not to water? Anything we should or shouldn’t do?

I literally just laughed out loud and said Wow to myself.  Great job!  I’ll trust your judgement after you’ve pet them.  I’d guess that they have been breathing so well that they can handle a touch of moisture, even if it’s not necessary.  Just try to make sure you don’t leave pooled moisture in the depressions where the stem meets the cap.

    They are trophy mushrooms indeed!

    Great job so far.

Harvest window starts tomorrow for sure.

Also…feel free to go over the Growing Mushrooms 101 course.  You are one of the few people with early access to it. John too. I’m just waiting for your harvest photos to finish it off for a final edit. 💪🍄. I haven’t added the quizzes, exam or completion certificate yet.

Fresh white growth can happen Anywhere, and it’s pretty mush impossible to spot in photos.  Monitor close daily for changes.  💪🍄
