Keymaster::Great call! These new babies seem a bit light in colour and may not increase your total yield. Let’s trim them off. Use downward slices with a clean knife, then “peel away” the caps I’ve marked like you would peal a 🍌 banana. They fibers pull apart easily that way, without leaving mush of a stump behind.

Keymaster::I literally just laughed out loud and said Wow to myself. Great job! I’ll trust your judgement after you’ve pet them. I’d guess that they have been breathing so well that they can handle a touch of moisture, even if it’s not necessary. Just try to make sure you don’t leave pooled moisture in the depressions where the stem meets the cap.
They are trophy mushrooms indeed!
Great job so far.
