Looks perfect.  No flattening or discoloration of the white primordial formations.  We should see those baby pins start to grow caps in the next 24 hours.  Great job so far!

The black Pearls are a bit slower than my faster Oyster Strains.  There is alot of patience and persistence needed in mycology.  Just keep doing what you are doing.  Black Pearls are worth it!  You got this.

They are so trying!  I suspect over watering, drowning the babies, but real hard to tell without daily updates.

Great news though.  It looks like it’s ready to explode!

Maybe slow down on your watering and watch them explode?

Amazing that they haven’t dried, browned and gone flat, but are still stunted and slow.

I think you are doing tooooo good of a job.

It happens to lots of people, especially if they profess to be green thumbs, science minded, or to have experience growing mushrooms.

Give me a busy parent or a kid any day.

They tend to strike the right balance.

It’s a special type of person who over waters.

Far better than. Underwatering because it’s all still fresh and ready to grow!

Watch it happen.  It will explode.

    Great lesson for us all.
